Crossbow

The crossbow in Half-Life 2 is a bit different from the original Half-Life. It now shoots what appear to be superheated rebars as opposed to regular bolts, and the reload time has been decreased significantly. The crossbow generally kills in one hit and can nail enemies to the wall. Secondary fire allows you to zoom in to shoot, although hitting moving targets is made difficult by the low velocity of this weapon's projectile.
