Description
Poison Headcrab is identified by the white bands that encircle the area where the leg meets the body. To distinguish it further, its skin is a brown/black colour, with thick hairs on the joints of its long legs. It makes a very distinct and unpleasant sound similar to that of a rattlesnake's tail when it detects a viable host. Although the build up to jump is much longer than other type of headcrabs, a hit will instantly drop its victim's health down to a very low level, leaving the victim open for attacks. However, HEV suit worn by Gordon will apply an antidote to slowly restore his health. Poison Headcrab can be found in large numbers on the back of Poison Zombie.
